Today, unlike before in American history, nonprofit organizations need more funding to stay afloat to meet community and global needs. Many organizations rely heavily on the financial support of their donors, members, and supporters -- some are blessed to receive support from umbrella organizations like the United Way. However so many nonprofits, churches and schools do not have the extra financial help provided by umbrella organizations. How can these organizations increase their funding? The declining American economy has affected all organizations and industries - the business industry to include publishers have been turned upside down trying to figure out how to regain "traditional" customers lost through the recession.
